Mary Immaculate College manager Eamonn Cregan has called for improvement ahead of today's Fitzgibbon Cup showdown with DIT.
The Limerick college went down to rivals UL on a 5-15 to 3-14 score-line last week and must now overcome DIT's challenge this afternoon in order to advance into the competition's quarter-finals.
"I'm amazed at the way we played the first 20 minutes because we were very, very poor," said Cregan, who managed Offaly to All-Ireland SHC success in 1994.
Throw-in for the game at Parnells is at 2pm.
