Carlow 4-4
London 1-11

Carlow banked their first points of the Allianz FL Division 4 at the expense of London in Ruislip today.

A hat-trick of goals from midfielder Sean Gannon boosted Turlough O'Brien's charges to a two point victory.

Gannon raised two green flags during the opening 35 minutes and the Barrowsiders, who suffered a five point loss against Antrim on the opening weekend, enjoyed a 3-3 to 0-5 advantage at the interval.

John Murphy also found the back of the Exiles' net via the penalty spot in the first-half while Gannon completed his hat-trick shortly after the resumption.

London, who came away from Louth empty handed six days ago, refused to throw in the towel, however, and engineered a late goal but the visitors held on for the two points.
