Crossmaglen made a whopping 11 substitutions on their way to winning the Seamus McFerran Cup for an 11th time.

Stephen Finnegan, David McKenna, Jamie Clarke, Callum Cumiskey, Danny O'Callaghan, Aaron Cunningham (twice), Garvan Carragher, Padraig Stuttard, Kyle Brennan and Diarmuid McConville were all sprung from the bench by joint-managers Oisin McConville and John McEntee as the perennial Armagh champions recorded a thrilling extra-time victory over Scotstown at a wet and windy Athletic Grounds.

While O'Callaghan was sent off within four minutes of his introduction, fellow subs McKenna, Cumiskey and Stuttard got on the scoresheet. County star Clarke, who recently returned to the panel after an extended break in the UK, also set up a number of scores, including Kyle Carragher's crucial second goal.

Goalscorer Brian McGinnity was one of six Scotstown substitutes to make an appearance, but Cross' unenviable strength in depth ultimately told.
