Galway football manager Kevin Walsh has been dealt a blow with the news that he could have to plan without two of his regulars next season.

The Irish Examiner reports that former All-Ireland U21 winning defender Johnny Duane and forward Michael Lundy are both set to move to the United States for an indefinite period, ruling them out of the Tribesmen's 2016 campaign.

It is understood that the pair will make themselves available to play for New York in the Connacht SFC next May when the Exiles welcome Roscommon to Gaelic Park for the provincial preliminary round clash.
