The process to find a new Mayo senior football manager is due to commence next Monday.

County Board vice-chairman Seamus Tuohy confirmed to the Western People that the fallout from the resignation of Noel Connelly and Pat Holmes will be top of the agenda at next Monday's County Board meeting at Elverys MacHale Park.

Nominations from the clubs will not be invited until after the meeting and Tuohy explained that an interview panel has yet to be set up.

It is also anticipated that John Maughan will be ratified as the county's U-21 football manager having been nominated by the County Board ahead of two other candidates, Michael Solan and Anthony McGarry.
