Holders Thurles Sarsfields and Eire Og, Nenagh will do battle for the Dan Breen Cup following their respective semi-final victories over Kilruane McDonagh's and Drom-Inch.

In the first part of yesterday's double-header at Semple Stadium, Aidan McCormack's late goal sealed a 2-20 to 1-17 victory for Sars after McDonagh's had staged a stirring second half comeback. The holders had just lost county defender Michael Cahill to a second yellow card when McCormack pounced and Pa Bourke added a late free. McCormack and Bourke scored 2-14 between them.

Eire Og are through to their second final in three years after needing extra-time to get the better of Drom-Inch.

The sides had been level 11 times before Daire Quinn's last-gasp point secured a 1-20 to 2-16 victory for the Nenagh men. Earlier, Mickey Heffernan's free had forced extra-time, 1-15 to 2-12, for the 2013 runners-up.
