Oisin McConville was already looking to another Ulster club SFC campaign after Crossmaglen clinched a remarkable 19th Armagh SFC title in 20 years with an 18-point rout of Armagh Harps yesterday.

The joint-manager told the Irish News: "We hadn't played all that well all year and we were determined to put in some sort of a performance.

"But there are bigger games ahead. We won a county title today, there are bigger questions to be answered down the road. We want to be back challenging for Ulster and All-Ireland honours.

"I felt coming into the game we were going to be under pressure, so maybe we were better prepared. We performed really, really well and had set down a marker in the first 15 or 20 minutes and were able to kick on after that.

"Harps came at us midway though the first half, we stemmed that and were able to kick on and get a few scores. We looked a little better up front than we have done. We thought they (Armagh Harps) were a much-improved team from last year, having watched them in their semi-final, but I think we were a bit better today."
