The London SFC is facing delay after Parnells decide to appeal the result of their group game against Kingdom-Kerry Gaels to the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA).

Parnells, who went into the final round group match on September 13 knowing that anything less than a three-point defeat would see them qualify for the knockout stages, lost on what they believed was a 0-10 to 0-13 scoreline. However, the referee insisted the result was 0-10 to 0-14, meaning Kingdom-Kerry Gaels progressed to the knockout stages instead.

Parnells have already appealed the result to the London CCC and the British CCC without success, and have now decided to seek a DRA hearing in their quest to be reinstated to the championship.

As a result, this weekend's scheduled semi-final between Kingdom-Kerry Gaels and Tir Chonaill Gaels has been postponed until the outcome of the DRA hearing is known.

St. Kiernan's are already through to the final after ousting Peter Canavan's Fulham Irish in last Saturday's semi-final.
