Nemo's Kevin Fulignati and Brian O'Regan tackle Chris Hayes of Castlehaven during the Cork SFC Final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. INPHO

Nemo Rangers and Castlehaven will contest the Andy Scannell Cup decider for the second time in three years on October 18 after seeing off Carbery Rangers and O'Donovan Rossa respectively at Pairc Ui Rinn this afternoon.

In the first semi-final, Nemo held on for a 1-11 to 0-13 victory over their Rosscarbery opponents after leading by 1-7 to 0-3 at the break. Paul Kerrigan rattled the Rangers' net in the second minute, while Alan O'Donovan, James Masters and Luke Connolly added points to leave the city side sitting pretty at the halfway stage.

But the West Cork men stormed back with a flurry of second points from John Hayes, John O'Rourke, Seamus Hayes and Brian Shanahan to leave the minimum in it.

2013 champions Castlehaven laid the foundations for their 1-13 to 1-10 victory over West Cork rivals O'Donovan Rossa in the early stages when they raced into a 1-6 to 0-1 lead, with Brian Hurley scoring the goal. The Skibbereen men recovered to trail by 0-6 to 1-8 at the break thanks to points from Daniel Hazel, Donal Og Hodnett and Kevin Davis, and were given further hope when Conor McCarthy scored a late goal.

But 'Haven hung on.
