A repeat of last year's final is on the cards in the Cork SHC after holders Sarsfields got the better of Erins Own at the second attempt in Pairc Ui Rinn tonight.

Goals from Cian McCarthy (2), Ronan Murphy and Tadgh Murphy propelled the holders to a 4-15 to 1-14 semi-final replay success.

Sarsfields enjoyed a 1-6 to 0-5 cushion at the halfway stages thanks to Ronan Murphy's goal and they upped the ante after the resumption.

Eoghan Murphy netted Erins Own's goal but it's Sarsfields who will renew acquaintances with Glen Rovers in next Sunday's decider.

Sarsfields prevailed on a scoreline of 2-18 to 0-8 when the sides met in the decider 12 months ago.
