St Oliver Plunketts ER and Ballyboden St Enda's are safely through to the last eight of the Dublin SFC after getting the better of Raheny and Kilmacud Crokes respectively in a Parnell Park double-header last night.

Bernard Brogan (0-3) and Alan Brogan (0-2) were on target for Oliver Plunketts as they overcame Raheny on a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-5.

Raheny, who lined out minus the services of All-Ireland final 'man-of-the-match' Brian Fention, bagged the game's only goal via the boot of Gavin Ivory in the first-half and the sides went in level at the break - 1-2 to 0-5.

But, with Gareth Smith (0-6) also in good scoring form, the Navan Road outfit pulled away after the resumption to record a five point victory.

Meanwhile, in the second game, Ballyboden St Enda's edged out neighbours Kilmacud Crokes on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-10.

A low-scoring first-half finished with the teams level on 0-4 apiece and the game's decisive moment arrived in the 59th minute when Andrew Kerin slotted home a penalty following a foul by Eoin Culligan on Sam Maloney.

Corner-forward Kerin top scored for the winners with 1-5 while Conal Keaney (0-2) and Michael Darragh Macauley (0-1) also made the scoresheet.

The capital's club championship continues today and the highlight will be the clash of north side rivals St Vincent's and Ballymun Kickhams in Parnell Park (5.30pm) in what is a repeat of the 2013 decider.
