Tipperary vice-captain Darragh Peters knows that they will have to be at their best to beat Galway in Sunday's All-Ireland MHC final.

Peters has stepped into the breach as captain Stephen Quirke makes his way back from injury and he admitted to the Tipperary Star that they will have to match Galway's drive all the way.

"Galway is a great hurling county and their lads are really driven. They never ever give up - we have seen that from them a few times this year," said Peters.

"We expect that Sunday will be no different. We will have to match them all the way if we are to be successful."

Peters' brother Jack has a minor medal from 2012 and the younger brother is keen to replicate that feat come Sunday afternoon.
