Isn't it ironic...
Eamon McGee will miss Gaoth Dohair's crucial Donegal SFC encounter with Malin this evening through suspension, despite pleading his innocence.
The All-Ireland winning defender was sent off by referee Paddy McGonigle against Sean MacCumhaills last weekend and had his appeal against the red card rejected by the Donegal Hearings Committee yesterday morning. Apparently, there wasn't suffiicent video evidence to support his case.
McGee maintained on Twitter he was innocent, unlike in previous disciplinary appeals he won...
lost my appeal to the red card I got in club game.Irony=any appeal I've won in past I was as guilty as sin the one time I'm innocent I lose.
