Donegal manager Rory Gallagher believes that Galway will provide them with a stern test in their All-Ireland SFC qualifier clash.
The sides meet in this round 4B match at Croke Park tomorrow (Saturday) evening and Donegal go into the game having lost the Ulster final a couple of weeks ago.
Provincial finalists have a poor record in the qualifiers as Cork will testify too following their demise against Kildare last weekend.
However, Donegal have had an extra week off as they prepare for a clash against a Galway side who have put a fine run together in the qualifiers.
"They are a team on the upward curve as their last two results against Ulster teams would suggest," Gallagher told the Donegal Democrat.
"They have had a similar path to ourselves. We played Armagh and Derry as they did. They have changed their style somewhat from the Mayo game.
"They held Derry to 0-08 and Armagh to 0-12 and obviously they have tightened up at the back. But look, we have to be aware that it is Galway we are playing. And just like all games, it is about ourselves and getting our own game right."
