Sligo minors have advanced to the Connacht Final after a three point victory over Roscommon this evening at Dr. Hyde Park.

The winners lead for the majority of the match and went to the dressing rooms at half time with a four point cushion; 1-7 to 1-3.

In the second half Sligo extended this to an eight point lead early on but Roscommon never lay down and goals from Daniel Glynn and Brian Stack drew the sides level with only minutes to play.

Roscommon will rue some missed goals chances they had in between but Sligo showed great composure in the final minutes slotting over three quick fire points before the final whistle blew.

It will be a huge occasion for the Yeats County on July 19th as both minors and seniors play at Dr. Hyde Park in a double Connacht Final.
