Donegal manager Rory Gallagher admits that he was relieved to see his players come through a round of club championship games last weekend.

With the Ulster SFC quarterfinal against Armagh in just over two week's, Gallagher was keeping his fingers crossed that all his county players would come through last weekend's games unscathed.

And the Fermanagh native got his wish as he reported to the Donegal Democrat that there are no real injury concerns ahead of the clash with the Orchard County.

"A few of the lads picked up a number of bumps and bruises but other than Daniel McLoughlin complaining of a tight groin there is nothing major to report," said Gallagher.

"The weekend went well and all the boys played well which is good and the other bit of good news is that Darach O'Connor came on and played a half for Buncrana and Aodh Ruadh.

"Darach has been very unfortunate this year so far. First he got the measles and then he picked up a knee injury. But he is back in training for a few weeks and is getting into good nick.

"Overall, we are in good shape and we are all looking forward to the Armagh game and getting down to serious training now over the next couple of weeks.

"There are a round of club games this weekend on Saturday evening which is covered under the 13-day rule and after that we will have them for the next two weeks."
