A number of Kerry players are in danger of missing the forthcoming trip to Portugal due to injury.

Manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice is planning to bring 32 players to The Algarve on Bank Holiday Monday for a five-day warm weather training camp but some of the squad members will be assessed over the weekend to see if they are fit to travel.

James O'Donoghue (calf), Johnny Buckley (ankle), Marc O Se (ankle), Pa Kilkenny (hamstring), Paul Galvin (quad), Killian Young (groin), Jack Sherwood, Anthony Maher, Donnchadh Walsh and David Moran (shoulder) are all carrying knocks and may not be able to take part in the training camp.

An alternative trip to Fatima seems out of the question as the Kingdom countdown to their Munster SFC opener against Tipperary or Waterford on June 14th.
