Leinster MFC: Dubs book semi-final ticket

May 16, 2015

Innovate Wexford Park.

Dublin 3-8
Wexford 0-11

Goals from Dillon Keating (2) and John Kindlon secured Dublin's safe passage into the last four at Wexford's expense in Innovate Wexford Park today.

The visitors were made to sweat for the victory but they pulled away in the second-half when outscoring their hosts by 2-4 to 0-4.

Paddy Christie's charges enjoyed a perfect start when Keating raised the first of his two green flags but the Model County gave as good as they got during the opening 30 minutes and the sides went in level (Dublin 1-4, Wexford 0-7) at the break.

Substitute Kindlon netted his side's second goal with 13 minutes left on the clock and corner-forward Keating applied the gloss to the victory five minutes later.

As a result, Dublin will join Kildare, Longford and Meath in the hat for this evening's Leinster MFC semi-final draw.
