Captain Kieran McGeary believes many of Tyrone's All-Ireland U21 FC winning team have a future at senior level.

The Red Hands collected their first U21 All-Ireland in 14 years on Saturday and Pomeroy Plunkett's clubman Geary says the bulk of those players can perform on a bigger stage:

"There are plenty of reasons why we can do well. I know the players in that whole team will put their heads down and really focus on making it at senior level," he states in The Irish News.

"I think people were exaggerating that there was no talent coming through the county. We proved we have the talent and we're an All-Ireland winning team.

"It's fantastic to be part of this group of players. You constantly feel like a winner. Every time you go to training you feel like a champion. I just hope that this is the group of players who go on and do it at senior level."
