Sport was put into perspective last night when an elderly spectator died during the All-Ireland U21FC final.
The second half of the thrilling Tyrone v Tipperary clash at Parnell Park was delayed by 40 minutes after paramedics were called to deal with two separate incidents at half-time.
The deceased man is a 78-year-old who went into cardiac arrest during the game.
The second spectator was rushed to the nearby Beaumont Hospital after suffering a heart-attack. Thankfully, his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
