Offaly manager Pat Flanagan would love to get a crack at Dublin in the championship.
The Faithful turned on the style in the second half of Saturday's Allianz League Division 4 final to rout Longford, but will have to beat their midland rivals again in the first round of the Leinster SFC in less than three weeks' time if they're to book a return to Croke Park and a meeting with the All-Ireland favourites.
"It's great to win up at Croke Park, it's great just to get a game at Croke Park and hopefully we get the opportunity to come back and play Dublin," Flanagan said.
"If we do, and if we played as well as we played against Longford and add another 10 or 20 per cent, then who knows? Dublin are an extremely good football team, they're going to be there or thereabouts in the championship at the end of the day.
"This is great preparation for us, but that's all it is really."
Man of the match Graham Guilfoyle was delighted with Offaly's performance.
"Coming into the game, we had promotion done, what we had set out to do at the start of the year. It was all about just getting the performance today and getting the result," the Clara man said.
"We're a good hard-ground football team and it showed there today. When we get a chance to play football, we play and you saw that on the scoreboard. The forwards excelled."
