Kerry received a double boost at the weekend with the return of James O'Donoghue and Aidan O'Mahony to action.

O'Donoghue returned following a five-month layoff after shoulder surgery in Legion's club championship comeback win over Kerins O'Rahilly's. The Footballer of the Year scored four points following his half-time introduction to help Legion to a quarter-final spot.

Veteran defender O'Mahony also returned from ankle surgery for Rathmore in their 3-12 to 0-15 extra-time victory over Milltown/Castlemaine.

Michael Geaney and Donnchadh Walsh were also back for Dingle and Cromane respectively. All four are expected to be back to full fitness in plenty of time for the All-Ireland champions' Munster SFC semi-final against either Tipperary or Waterford on June 14.
