Tipperary have decided against taking Seamus Callanan's case to the Centrals Appeals Committee - meaning the star forward will have to sit out their league semi-final encounter against Waterford.

The Premier County failed in their bid to have the red card Callanan was shown against Offaly rescinded at the Central Hearings Committee last week and hinted that they would take the case further.

However, County Board PRO Joe Bracken confirmed last night that there will be no further appeal.
