Carlow manager Turlough O'Brien is delighted to have a strong squad at his disposal.
In the last few years, Carlow have struggled to get their strongest squad playing for them, but O'Brien feels that has all changed this year.
The results speak for themselves as they are currently unbeaten in Division Four and the manager admitted to the Carlow Nationalist that the substitutes made a difference in turning around last weekend's game against Waterford.
"We have strength in depth. We were able to bring on lads and they all made an impact," said O'Brien. That has been the story in the other games as well.
"The most difficult thing for us is to name 26 players which I hate doing because we have nine other lads in there who deserve their place as well."
This weekend, Carlow host Wicklow in the next round of the Div 4 campaign and they will be confident of picking up a further two points there.
