GAA World Games in Abu Dhabi

Here's more proof that Gaelic Games are becoming more and more popular around the world. Canadian Debra Sandberg only took up Gaelic Football last September but she is already a devoted player with Kuwait Harps.

So, when Debra's team reached the Final of the Al Ain Tournament in the United Arab Emirates, the girl from British Columbia had no hesitation in cancelling a flight in order to play in the game.

'The sport is brand new to me and it's something that is just amazing, I love it', says Debra who will be supporting her team-mates at the first ever GAA World Games in Abu Dhabi on March 6/7, which she reckons will be 'awesome'.
