The Wexford and Clare hurlers will be in action twice in the space of 24 hours this weekend.

Tomorrow, the teams will meet in a SH challenge in Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary before turning their attention to the Walsh and Waterford Crystal Cups on Sunday. Wexford will host UCD in Gorey, while Clare will take on Tipperary in Sixmilebridge.

Presumably, respective managers Liam Dunne and Davy Fitzgerald will be fielding different teams in the two games. Tomas Waters has been named at full back on the Wexford team to face the students after undergoing five operations on the horrific knee injury he suffered against the Banner in their 2013 All-Ireland qualifier encounter.
