Rhode manager Pat Daly is hoping his side's qualification for the Leinster club SFC final can inspire the Offaly footballers.

The Village will take on reigning All-Ireland champions St. Vincent's in the provincial decider at Pairc Tailteann on December 14 and Daly says it's an opportunity for Offaly fans to come out and support a team from the county.

"Our Leinster final will give everyone throughout the county a chance to get behind our team and build Offaly football once again," Daly said after Rhode's impressive semi-final victory over Moorefield last Sunday.

"It is what the county needs. We all need to get behind the county team and (new manager) Pat Flanagan as well and his management team. We need to get Offaly out of Division 4. We are not going to win an All-Ireland or Leinster this year, but we have to build it.

"To me the support is gone from Offaly. There was great support here today. There is no doubt about it we have the players in the county. The Offaly lads work as hard as any inter-county team and I know that from our lads coming back to us.

"It is time for everyone to get back behind Offaly and push it on again."
