Comedian Dara Ó Briain used one of Micheal O'Hehir's favourite words on BBC TV this week.
"There's a bit of a schemozzle in the parallelogram," was a phrase the legendary broadcaster regularly used during his GAA commentaries and Ó Briain borrowed the 'schemozzle' word while presenting 'The Apprentice: You're Fired' programme on BBC2 on Wednesday night.
The Wicklow native later explained to baffled British viewers on twitter in his own inimitable way the meaning of 'schemozzle', which has long been a part of GAA speak.
Yes, people of Britain. The word I used on Youre Fired was Shemozzle; meaning any set-to amidst closely gathered competing sportspeople

In a sentence: There was an awful shemozzle in the parallelogram, until the referee stepped in.
