Australia star Nathan 'Nat' Fyfe has been ruled out of Saturday's International Rules Test in Perth.

Fyfe is one of the biggest stars in the AFL but he sustained an injury during today's facile 86-7 victory over New South Wales GAA in a warm-up match.

The brilliant Fremantle midfielder fell awkwardly and damaged his shoulder and, even though the injury is not believed to be serious, his club is erring on the side of caution and have withdrawn him.

"I dived for a mark and simply landed the wrong way and it didn't feel right," says Fyfe, who had been hoping to make his International Rules debut this weekend.

"I've loved the experience over the last few days and meeting players from across the competition and it's incredibly disappointing to miss out."
