Ballylanders manager Ephie Fitzgerald is adamant that his charges will be going all out in the Munster club SFC.

On Sunday, the Limerick champions take on Waterford's The Nire in the opening round and Fitzgerald has a proud pedigree in the provincial campaign with his native club Nemo Rangers.

The Corkman won five Munster club titles as a player and two as a manager and he stressed to the Limerick Leader that that winning mentality has been instilled in the Ballylanders' players.

"I never allow any team to relax or rest - even in training it's win, win, win. I would be very disappointed if they are happy with just a county title," stated Fitzgerald.

"That win has qualified us for a new competition and now we want to go and do our best in it. No matter what it is, you have to go challenge yourself - this is a new start for us and it's chance to win a first ever game in the Munster club championship. I have to say the attitude has been top notch."
