Ballinderry will find out tomorrow what - if any - sanctions will be imposed on them arising from the ugly scenes that marred the end of their controversial Derry SFC final defeat by Slaughtneil last Sunday week.

Slaughtneil's Gerald Bradley scored a hugely contentious injury-time goal - Ballinderry claim the ball hadn't fully crossed the goal-line - to deny the Shamrocks of a four-in-a-row of county titles.

After the final whistle, Ballinderry players and supporters vented their disgust at the decision to award the goal by attempting to stop referee Anthony Campbell and his umpires from leaving the Celtic Park pitch. It's believed one of the umpires received a cut during the incident.

The Derry CCC have since received the referee's report and will make their ruling within the next 24 hours.
