Holders Glenealy and Bray Emmets will contest the Wicklow SHC final for the second year-in-a-row following their respective wins over Avondale and Carnew at Aughrim on Saturday.

With dual star Leighton Glynn orchestrating proceedings from centre back, five-in-a-row chasing Glenealy powered to a 4-22 to 1-8 victory over local rivals Avondale. Glynn posted six first half points to help the champions to a 1-12 to 1-4 interval lead.

And they put the result beyond doubt with a trio of goals from Gavin Weir, Enan Glynn and Wayne O'Gorman inside the first 11 minutes of the second half.

A brace of second half goals from county star Mikey Lee steered Bray to a 2-10 to 0-10 victory over Carnew in the other semi-final. Centre back John Henderson was also outstanding for the town side, who led by 0-3 to 0-2 at the end of a low-scoring first half.
