Alan Brogan has poured cold water on reports this morning that he has hung up his boots on the inter-county stage.

The former Footballer of the Year has taken to Twitter to clarify that he has not retired and the 32-year-old added that, when the times comes, his family and team-mates will be the first to know.

Not sure where it came from but I have not retired, my family and teammates will be the first to know that.
