Criticism of dual players is unjust - Cuthbert

Brian Cuthbert believes there has been too much negative coverage surrounding Cork's dual stars.
Eoin Cadogan, Aidan Walsh and Damien Cahalane have been juggling both codes this season. However, their dual mandate was called into question after the Rebels' humiliating defeat to Kerry in the Munster SFC final earlier this month.
"They're very good players. This year has been unbelievable with the amount of questioning of the dual players," the Cork football boss tells the Evening Echo.
"Maybe we should turn it on its head and say fair play to them for trying it, for devoting their whole life to it basically, and there have been moments where it's been beneficial to both.
"There's merits and demerits to everything but at the end of the season we can review it, but hopefully that's a bit off for both teams yet."
The trio are expected to be included in the Cork team for Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Mayo when it is named tonight.
