Fermanagh SFC: Devenish send 2012 champions packing

Tempo made an early exit from the Fermanagh SFC at the weekend when they lost to Devenish by 0-10 to 0-14.

The 2012 champions succumbed to a late Devenish surge which yielded four unanswered points, including three frees from goalkeeper Thomas Treacy. Terry O'Flanagan added the insurance point.

Current holders Roslea were made to work hard for a 1-11 to 0-9 victory over second division side Lisnaskea. The crucial score came in the 10th minute when Shane Lynch finished to the net after the ball had broken kindly to him in the small square.

Tommy McCaffrey scored a pair of goals as Erne Gaels defeated last year's intermediate champions Enniskillen Gaels by 2-8 to 0-6 to progress to the quarter-finals.

And in the closest game of the weekend, teenager Eoin McManus nailed a late free to give Teemore a 1-9 to 0-11 win over Derrygonnelly.
