The GAA's most famous follower is making a good recovery from a recent health scare.

Seventy-four-year Frank Hogan, better known as 'John 3:7' for his one-man biblical crusade at GAA venues around the country, has been sidelined for the past few months after taking ill at a match in Roscommon. But he is now at back home in Castletroy, Co. Limerick where he is said to be recovering well.

The Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary native suffered a heart attack in 2006, but was soon back on the terraces with his famous 'John 3:7' sign. Here's hoping he'll be out and about again soon!

A tweet posted on the Limerick GAA website last night read: "All in Limerick GAA would like to wish Frank Hogan, better known in GAA Circles as John 3:7, return to good health".
