McGrath unsuccessful in player search

Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath
Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath has admitted that his search for new players to add to the squad has unearthed just one player so far.

McGrath contacted Tempo players Daryl Keenan and Damian Kelly, but both were unable to give their commitment for the year, while Teemore's Eoin McManus has yet to make a decision after he was invited in.

However, Irvinestown's James Duffy has joined up with the squad and the Down native stressed to the Fermanagh Herald that he is pleased with the squad he has.

"Eoin has been invited in and James Duffy from Irvinestown has already being added to the squad. We also made invitations to others including Daryl Keenan and Damian Kelly but neither player could commit which is unfortunate," said McGrath.

He added: "I have said this all along that I am very happy with the players that we have. There is lots of ability there and more importantly players have been working very hard in training."
