Clann na nGael - the club of Tyrone All-Ireland winners Stephen O'Neill and Brian Dooher - claimed their first competitive victory in 538 days when they defeated Drumragh last Saturday.

The Aughabrack-Donemana outfit's 1-13 to 1-11 All County League Division 3 second round victory was their first since October 27, 2012 when they defeated Strabane Sigersons to secure their Division 2 status. Since then, Clann have suffered one loss after another, but they are hoping last weekend's long-awaited win will prove to be a turning point after they ran Tattyreagh to a single point in the first round.

Needless to say, the north Tyrone club's cause hasn't been helped by the continued absence of former Footballer of the Year O'Neill who is in a race against time to be fit for his county's Ulster SFC preliminary round clash with Down on May 18 after undergoing ankle surgery in late February.
