Kildare minors have just three players from last year's Leinster winning side for their championship opener with Westmeath at Cusack Park, Mullingar.

Sarsfields' Cian McConnell (left corner back), Round Towers' Jamie Flynn (right half back) and Maynooth's Paul Mescal (centre back) were all named in the starting fifteen that claimed a first provincial title for the county at this level since 1991 against tomorrow's opponents.

Throw-in is at 3pm.
