Dubs to don all-black jerseys

Dublin will wear black while Cavan will don the white jersey
There is a "better than even" chance that Dublin will be wearing a new black jersey for tomorrow's All-Ireland U21 FC semi-final.

Both the Dubs and their opponents Cavan have been asked to don alternative colours due to the danger of a jerseys clash, with Dublin's new deep blue shirt deemed to be too similar to Cavan's royal blue one by the Competition Controls Committee.

Although the Dubs' second jersey is officially listed as navy with white trim, chairman Andy Kettle has confirmed that they will probably sport the novel, alternative all-black tops for Saturday's O'Moore Park clash.

And it seems that there will be absolutely no danger of a colours clash as Cavan are expected to wear white! It all adds to the excitement of what promises to be a fantastic double header in Portlaoise.
