Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has used a total of 39 players so far in 2014.

The Black & Amber have played three Walsh Cup matches and six national hurling league games so far this season, so this weekend's NHL semi-final against Galway is their tenth outing of the year.

Paul Murphy is the only man to have featured in all nine games thus far, while Michael Rice is the only high-profile Kilkenny hurler not to have tasted any action in 2014.

In recent weeks, the likes of Michael Fennelly, JJ Delaney and Richie Power were eased back into the fray.

Apart from Murphy, Walter Walsh is the only player to have appeared in all of the Cats' league games.
