Antrim's preparations for the Ulster SFC have been thrown into disarray after their St Gall's contingent quit the panel.

The Irish News reports that CJ McGourty, Michael Pollock and Chris Kerr have walked out after a break down in communication with manager Liam Bradley.

The loss of the experienced trio heaps further pressure on Bradley following the Saffrons dismal league showing in Division 4.

McGourty was their top league scorer with 26 points from four starts while Pollock was an ever-present during their seven games. Kerr, meanwhile, was the number one choice for their opening five games.

Better news for Antrim football fans is that Sean McVeigh will not face an inter-county suspension following his sending for for All Saints Ballymena against Cargin in a club game over the weekend.

His 'coming-together' with referee Paul Hanna during the game has been deemed accidental.
