Shane Walsh could miss Waterford's SH Qualifier against Offaly.

Na Deise - edged out of this year's Munster SHC by Clare - are due to take on the Faithful County in Tullamore on Saturday night and Walsh has again emerged as a major doubt.

The Fourmilewater clubman has a persisten hamstring injury, which forced him to sit out the Clare game, and is in a race against time to start at O'Connor Park.

There's better news for manager Michael Ryan concerning Jamie Nagle, however.

The corner back suffered an ankle injury at the weekend but is expected to recover in time to face Offaly. Tweet
