Foley injury jinx strikes again

Richie Foley's injury jinx has struck again and the Waterford ace is set to miss out on the remainder of the NHL campaign.
Foley missed last year's league because of an operation on a hip injury and now a similar problem has flared up on his other hip.
The 25 year old underwent an operation last Friday and is, understandably, frustrated at this latest turn of events.
"I started this year very well," he told The Irish Examiner. "I was flying fit, playing a few games, scoring from midfield.
"My form was back but I felt this thing niggling away at me. I was in denial up to two or three weeks ago when I knew that I had to get the thing sorted or I'd miss the whole year.
"I'll work my way back over the next nine or ten weeks, work on my match fitness and sharpness and try to bust my way back in."
