McMahon expects nothing easy
01 March 2013
Tyrone's Joe McMahon. INPHO
Joe McMahon would like to push on in the league but knows this is easier said than done.
The ultra-versatile Tyrone star has already collected McKenna Cup and Railway Cup medals in 2013 and would love to add a national league memento, but with Donegal visiting Omagh this weekend and four more difficult assignments to follow, McMahon knows the four points that are currently on the board could be quickly wiped out:
"While it was brilliant to share in Ulster's triumph, we want to push on with Tyrone now and maybe get into the frame for the league title," the Omagh man is quoted in The Belfast Telegraph.
"Obviously the top division is delicately balanced just now. You would not know who is going to survive, never mind who will win the title.
"We still have to go to Dublin and Kildare and face Cork and Kerry at home so it is easy to see that there is a hard road ahead."
