Armagh welcome back Clarke and Kernan
28 February 2013
Armagh's Aaron Kernan
Armagh have received a huge boost ahead of their Allianz NFL Round 3 fixture versus Longford with the return of the Crossmaglen contingent.
Aaron Kernan and Jamie Clarke are drafted straight into the starting line-up.
Kernan, along with Brendan Donaghy and Ciaran McKeever form a strong half back line while Clarke is picked at corner forward.
Injuries have ruled out last weekend's hat-trick hero Gavin McParland, Declan Carville, Anto Duffy and Paul McKeown.
The U21 players have been excused until the end of the U21 championship.
Armagh (NFL V Longford): Philip McEvoy; Gary McCooey, James Donnelly, Stephen Finnegan; Aaron Kernan, Brendan Donaghy, Ciaran McKeever; James Lavery, Kieran Toner; Kevin Dyas, Stefan Campbell, Caolan Rafferty; Jamie Clarke, Stefan Forker, Brian Mallon.
Subs: Niall Geoghagen, Declan McKenna, Mark Shields, Finnian Moriarty, Barry Loughran, Stephen Harold, Johnny Hanratty, Tony Kernan, Eugene McVerry, John Kingham, Sean Clarke.
