Davis: massive game for us
28 February 2013
Longford selector Padraic Davis
Longford selector Padraic Davis cannot implore enough the magnitude of this weekend's clash against Armagh.
The bottom two sides in division two go head to head at the Athletic Grounds on Saturday evening.
The Midlanders have no points from their opening two matches, while Armagh have just one and the loser of this match will certainly be in a relegation dogfight for the remainder of the campaign.
And Davis stressed to the Longford Leader that this was certainly their biggest game of the year so far.
"It's a massive game for us," stated Davis. "It's an opportunity for us to get back on track; in terms of winning a match.
"It's disappointing that things have not worked out for us so far but at the same time we are in a good frame of mind. We are performing but just have not crossed the line in front yet."
