Longford unchanged
28 February 2013
Longford's Kevin Diffley tackled by Peadar Byrne and Damien Carroll of Meath. INPHO
Longford boss Glenn Ryan has named an unchanged team from that which lost to Westmeath for Saturday night's Allianz League clash with Armagh at the Athletic Grounds.
There is one positional change in the half back line, however, which sees Kevin Diffley now positioned at centre back and Mickey Quinn on the right wing. Ryan will be demanding a greater scoring return from his forwards after corner forward Sean McCormack accounted for all but a point of their tally against Westmeath.
It was rumoured that Brian Kavanagh was returning from his travels in the US to play in the championship, but this would appear to be wide of the mark.
Longford (SF v Armagh): D Sheridan; D Brady, B Gilleran, P Foy; M Quinn, K Diffley, S Mulligan; J Keegan, M Brady; B McElvaney, D McElligott, P McCormack; F McGee, R Smyth, S McCormack.
