Rogan cautious of Antrim backlash
05 July 2012
Derry hurling manager Ger Rogan
Derry manager Ger Rogan believes that Antrim will come out all guns blazing in the Ulster final.
The sides meet in Casement Park on Sunday afternoon and the Saffrons go into the match as favourites to take the title yet again.
However, their credibility has been somewhat dented since Limerick recorded a 32-point victory over Jim Nelson's charges in the All-Ireland qualifiers.
But, Rogan explained to Gaelic Life that he was wary of a backlash from his native county.
"I am a proud Antrim man and was so annoyed at the result to Limerick," he said. "But we won't be looking at them as a team that are down, we will be looking at them as a team looking to restore some pride, and that can make things harder."
