Dublin defender Philly McMahon has escaped sanction following his tunnel bust-up with Cork's Michael Shields during April's NFL final.

McMahon, who will line out for the Dubs against Laois on Sunday, was reported for 'disruptive conduct' which resulted in the CCCC proposing a four-week ban for him. However, the charge was withdrawn by disciplinary chiefs after he requested a hearing.
